Vieforit - Update Patch Notes

CS2 Servers - Fixes & Technical Improvements

We’ve deployed a new update addressing several technical issues related to match flow, server stability, and the integration between the CS2 game servers and the platform.

Match Flow & Gameplay Fixes

• Pause time in Duels fixed – pause time is now correctly limited to a maximum of 60 seconds per player. (Pause time in Wingman remains unchanged — maximum 180 seconds per team.)
• Match start timer logic improved – fixed the timer that starts the game after all players connect. Previously, in scenarios where a player disconnected and reconnected during this countdown, the timer could behave incorrectly. The timer now properly shortens and adjusts after reconnections.
• Fixed an issue where matches could remain stuck on the "Starting Server" status, preventing the match from launching correctly.

Match Integrity & Result Handling

• Fixed rare scenarios where players were incorrectly disqualified during a match due to rage quit or failure to join, even though the player had not actually violated the rules.
• Fixed scenarios where a match did not automatically end after the opponent rage quit, even after the designated waiting time had passed.
• Fixed a bug where players were incorrectly assigned to teams on the CS2 server, which in some cases caused the platform to retrieve the match result in reverse order.

Major CS2 Server Integration Rebuild

We introduced a significant rebuild and optimization of the integration between the CS2 servers and the platform backend.
This update improves overall server performance and match stability, particularly in the following areas:
• Reduced ping instability
• Eliminated unexpected packet loss
• Reduced server stuttering and rollback ("server rewind")
• Fixed lag spikes that previously occurred during:
• Player connections to the server
• The end of rounds
• Kill events
As a result of these optimizations, unexpected packet loss and connection-related lag spikes should no longer occur during gameplay.

The update is already live on all servers.
Thank you for your feedback and for reporting issues — it helps us continuously improve the platform and gameplay experience.
