MAJOR PATCH NOTES
We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes to make your experience on Vieforit faster, cleaner, and more seamless. From lobby overhauls to performance upgrades, here is everything new on the platform.
Smoother Match & Lobby Experience
We’ve simplified how you jump into matches, cut down unnecessary wait times, and improved how information is delivered so you can focus purely on the game.
Joining Matches & Map Veto Updates
No More Instant Disqualifications: Joining the match lobby late will no longer instantly forfeit your match. You can now enter the lobby at any point.
Faster Start Timers: The countdown now explicitly shows when the Map Veto begins:
30 seconds for Tournaments and Leagues.
5 seconds for Matchmaking.
Automated Map Veto: Map Veto starts automatically when the timer hits zero, even if not all players are inside the lobby. If someone is still joining, the system will auto-ban and auto-pick maps on their behalf.
Lobby Chat Activity: A system message will now broadcast in the lobby chat whenever a player joins.
Map Veto History: You can now view the full Map Veto history directly inside the match lobby to keep track of picks and bans.
Live Anti-Cheat Status: You can now see every player’s anti-cheat status directly in the match lobby, with real-time updates as their status changes.
Important: While lobby entry is more flexible, you must still connect to the game server within the designated time frame. Missing the server connection deadline will still result in a disqualification.
Performance Upgrades & System Speed
We know that speed matters — both in-game and on the platform.
We’ve rolled out a major performance upgrade that significantly boosts site responsiveness during your most critical interactions: browsing the platform, managing match lobbies, and connecting to game servers. Everything should feel snappier than ever.
Mission System Overhaul
We’re giving you more reasons to grind:
Multiple Active Missions: You are no longer limited to one mission at a time. You can now activate and progress through multiple missions simultaneously.
New Mission Badges: Never miss a fresh reward — newly added missions now feature a distinct "NEW" indicator so you can spot them instantly.
Clearer Updates & Fewer Interruptions
Say goodbye to annoying pop-ups blocking your screen mid-game. We’ve streamlined our notification system into subtle, top-right notifications.
Lobby & Match Banner
The old, bulky green banner has been replaced with a compact banner in the top-right corner. It displays real-time match status (Lobby Open, Map Veto in Progress, or Server Ready) alongside active countdowns.
Reporting Opponents
You can now report opponents directly from the match lobby — both during the match and for up to 30 seconds after it ends.
When an admin resolves your cheat report, you’ll receive a quiet top-right notification instead of a screen-wide pop-up.
Match Result Notifications
Matchmaking: Win pop-ups remain (with the report button removed), while Loss alerts are now subtle top-right notifications.
Tournaments: Wins, eliminations, free passes, and lower-bracket drops in double-elimination now trigger quick notifications. Post-match loss pop-ups have been removed entirely.
Leagues: All win and loss confirmations are now delivered via small top-right notifications.
Improved Real-Time Updates
Stay in sync with the action. We’ve improved real-time updates across the platform, so you can follow tournament progress and match activity without manually refreshing the page.
Tournament Progress: Brackets, tournament statuses, and registered player and team counts now refresh more reliably in real time.
Tournament Matches: Match results and statuses stay up to date as the tournament progresses.
Match Notifications: Improved delivery of post-match notifications and updates about your active match keeps you informed throughout the match flow.
Live Lobby Status: Match status updates now refresh more reliably inside the lobby, especially during the transition from Map Veto to server startup.
